WOMEN & HOMELESSNESS
There are countless reasons why women become homeless. Some have fallen through the cracks due to mental illness, rejection, joblessness, broken relationships, failed marriages, divorce, abandonment, deep wounding life's trauma, addiction to drugs and alcohol and the list goes on. Worse still are cases where such women are with children, sleeping rough with their kids, going without food or shelter, living in cardboard boxes, without showering, with no clean clothes or hygeine supplies and living in brokenness. Some were chased out of their own homes by violent and abusive partners and many are on the run for their dear lives.
PRO*ACTIVE DECISION:
We realise that this problems will not go away and it is pointless to keep on wishing that the world will become a better place very soon. Therefore we at the PRECIOUS WOMAN MAGAZINE, working in
partnership with our mother mission [The JHM GLOBAL] and others have teamed up to set up our first shelter in mainland Eurpope to be based in Scotland.
SRECIOUS WOMAN HOME-UK
The location of the home for domestically abused women fleeing their lives is confidential. It is known as the PRECIOUS WOMAN HOME. The home will proviide accommodation for 4-5 families, with sufficient
living space, proximity to a safe medical clinic, dentist, shops and ideal environment for recovery and for starting a new life. The home will provide Christian counselling as needed to mothers and their
children as well as education & vocational training for the women. There is counselling support for their children and active assistance to keep their children in local education.

We have a large wish list including funding, educational toys, foods, furniture, clothing, hygiene packs, educational & library materials, bed and beddings and much much more. If you would like to
